About you l The Position
Are you passionate about research and innovation in the field of medical aesthetics and cosmetics? Do you want to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and rapidly growing company? If so, MD Skin Solutions has an exciting internship opportunity for you!
We are looking for a Research & Development Intern (Product and Innovation) to join our team in september for 6 months. This role will allow you to work closely with our R&D engineers and participate in the entire product lifecycle, from concept to market introduction.
With us you will
- Participate in the design of new products, projects, & concepts.
- Test, correct, and validate products in early project state.
- Undertake and ensure the follow-up of scientific studies.
- Conduct competitive intelligence (market and competitor analysis).
- Ensure compliance of new products and tesing procedures with quality standards.
- Propose new research areas, products, processes, and new suppliers to CIO.
- Build the link between research and other departments.
- Supervise studies and communicate with doctors.
- Propose annual and multi-year development choices according to the company’s needs and R&D strategy in terms of innovation.
- Identify possible improvements in research processes to optimize lab performance.
- Commission specific studies internally and externally and propose partnerships with other research laboratories, especially universities.
- Participate in drafting specifications for new products or modifying formulas.
- Communicate with suppliers for the design of new products.
- Write publications in specialized journals or elsewhere.
- Follow-up the research phases.
Our Expectations
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field.
- A keen interest in the cosmetic industry and ideally, a focus on hyaluronic acid.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Eagerness to learn and develop in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support a fast-growing company.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory. French or any other language is a plus.
