About the Role
As Finance Manager, you will be the cornerstone of tax and accounting operations for nine Luxembourg-based entities. Embedded in a small, close-knit team of four, you will combine hands-on financial reporting with strategic collaboration alongside senior leadership, external tax advisors, and auditors. This is a role where breadth meets depth, offering the chance to sharpen your expertise across multiple legal entities while directly influencing key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting
- Review and prepare accounting and financial reports for nine Luxembourg entities.
- Support financial statement preparations under both local GAAP and IFRS.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to all reporting deadlines and guidelines.
Tax & Compliance
- Handle diverse tax matters and support local tax compliance across all entities.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with senior leaders to provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and key financial insights.
- Work closely with external auditors during audit cycles.
- Review legal documents and support management with strategic decision-making.
Operations & Coordination
- Manage vendor payments and day-to-day financial operations.
- Coordinate effectively across multiple entities and international stakeholders.
Requirements
Requirements
Must-Have
- University degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Approximately 5 years of experience in tax, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Background in a Big4 firm or multinational company environment preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with SAP.
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines across several entities simultaneously.
- Proactive, clear communicator who thrives both independently and within a small team.
Nice-to-Have
- French language skills.
- Experience with multi-entity financial consolidation.
- Familiarity with Luxembourg-specific tax regulations and reporting requirements.
