POSTE
For one of our clients, a European Banking Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a
Back Office Analyst (M/F)
Your tasks:
- Manage tax services for Treasury accounts, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.
- Set up counterparties in internal systems accurately and in a timely manner.
- Handle account opening and closing processes for Treasury accounts.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (Treasury, Compliance, Legal, other Operational teams) and external counterparties to resolve queries and ensure smooth processing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and internal control purposes.
- Support process improvements and contribute to operational risk mitigation initiatives.
PROFIL
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Very good knowledge of English
- At least 3 years of previous experience in banking operations or financial services, preferably in a Treasury back office or post trade environment and including:
- Exposure to Treasury products and related operational workflows
- Experience in handling account lifecycle management and counterparty onboarding
- Experience with tax certification, relief at source and reclaim processes for financial instruments
Key technical/professional knowledge and skill:
- Strong understanding of the post-trade environment, including settlement, reconciliation, operational controls and regulatory requirements.
- Knowledge of treasury products (e.g., FX, MM, derivatives) and their operational implications.
- Proficiency in using banking systems for account management and counterparty setup.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external counterparties.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage operational risks.
This is a great opportunity for a long-term temporary contract (initial contract of 2-month + extensions).
Salary: level 4 or 5, depending on experience (around 5830EUR gross or 7350EUR gross/month)
