About the FHSE
The University of Luxembourg is an international research university with a distinctly multilingual and interdisciplinary character.
The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) at the University of Luxembourg brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences.
People from across 20 disciplines are working within the Faculty. Along with the disciplinary approach a very ambitious interdisciplinary research culture has been developed. The faculty's research and teaching focuses on social, economic, political and educational issues with the common goal of contributing to an inclusive, open and resourceful society.
Your role
- Perform planning, scheduling and system update functions required for courses, exams and events
- Organise the courses and the exams per semester
- Inform and advise students and teachers on administrative and organisational matters
- General office duties: archiving, records management, welcoming students and teaching staff
- Maintain processes and procedures in line with the Faculty and University guidelines
- Participation in different events: meetings, visits, open days, student fairs, graduation ceremonies
Your profile
- High school diploma in business administration or a Higher education degree
- Work experience in administration or in the education sector
- Work experience in Education or Training programmes is an asset
- Agile with IT tools and database. Digitally curious and eager to learn new technologies
- Team player, diplomatic, friendly, service-oriented
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable and proactive
- Excellent command (C1) in French, English and German is required. Luxembourgish is an asset;
