Our client, a European institution, is looking for a Social Media Communication Officer M/F. This is a temporary assignment.
Key accountabilities :
- Manage and contribute content to social media content calendar.
- Work closely with team members to keep content calendar up to date, ensuring accuracy.
- Create content for recurring communication products.
- Create monthly social media analytics reports.
- Create regular social media listening reports, using specialised social media listening platform.
- Provide support for content creation on ongoing campaigns.
- Provide support for development of existing social media AI Agent project(s).
Key background & experience :
- Master's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field. A background in economics, finance, international relations, or European Policy is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in external communication, expertise in social media content production, managing digital channels or a similar role.
- Experience working in an EU institution, an International Financial Institution (IFI), and/or a creative agency would be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of social media and content marketing.
- Solid expertise in analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; other euro area languages would be a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint or other comparable tools.
- Proficiency in social media listening platforms, such as Meltwater or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva is considered an asset.
