The Trainee will participate proactively in the operativity of the Actuarial ;
Main Missions (non-exhaustive list): under the umbrella of the internship tutor, the trainee will be exposed to various activities like :
- Perform run-off analysis on different set of portfolios to assess overall reserve adequacy
- Support team for activities related to delivery of the Solvency II Technical Provision reporting
- Support team in preparation of Best Estimate Cash Flows used for IFRS 17 financial closing
Intern’s profile
- Student with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics / Economics, applied Statistics or any equivalent degree, working towards a Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences (or similar)
- Dynamic, proactive, and not afraid to take ownership
- Good command of Microsoft Office especially Excel, any other IT competencies would be considered an asset
- Basic knowledge of standard statistics and probabilistic concepts as well as Life and/or Non-Life techniques used to estimate claim reserves would be considered an asset
- Fluent in English, any other language would be considered an asset
