The Trainee Banking and Payment supports the team in carrying out day-to-day payment and banking administrative tasks under close supervision. This role is designed as an entry-level position, providing structured exposure to payment processes, banking platforms and internal controls, while developing core operational and professional skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of bank payments on various banking platforms under supervision.
- Support the preparation of payment packs and the coordination with authorised signatories.
- Assist with inputting payments on online banking platforms.
- Support the recording, coding and uploading of invoices into the SUN system.
- Assist in liaising with clients on basic payment-related queries.
- Support the monitoring and confirmation of payment completion.
- Assist in maintaining bank signatory lists and related documentation.
- Support the administration of online banking platforms, including user access and permissions, in line with internal policies.
- Execute ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as required.
- Fulfils an exemplary role in promoting and applying the organisation’s vision and values.

Minimum Education, Qualifications and Working Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) in business studies, economics or a related field.
- Whilst prior experience in payments or banking is not mandatory, some familiarity with financial operations is expected.
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French and/or German is an advantage).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
