The team
The Norton Rose Fulbright Luxembourg office, which has been set up in June 2017, consists of a dynamic and enthusiastic team working closely with our 50 offices globally, and offers employees and associates the opportunity to play an integral part in consolidating the office’s presence within the Luxembourg market.
Our team is made up of experienced and multilingual lawyers with extensive knowledge of the Luxembourg legal and regulatory environment and covers the firm’s core practices, including corporate/M&A, investment funds, banking and finance, real estate and cross-border tax planning.
Availability, quality and responsiveness are the hallmarks of our team.
The Traineeship
As part of the proposed traineeship, the successful candidate will be required to:
· Conduct legal research;
· Assist the team in the day-to-day management of its matters;
· Draft legal advice, contracts and other legal documents in English and French;
· Liaise with local authorities and service providers; and
· Contribute to the preparation of internal and external presentations, as well as internal know-how projects
Education and Skills Required
· Master's degree in Law (First State Examination in Germany or Master 2 from Belgium, Luxembourg or France), ideally complemented by a postgraduate degree in business law, business administration or finance (Business School, LL.M., MBA or equivalent);
· Fluency in English and French; German would be an asset;
· Eagerness to learn and develop within a dynamic and fast-growing team;
· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
