Your Day-to-Day

As part of a leading financial services environment, you will play a key role in overseeing Fund Accounting activities and ensuring the quality and consistency of operational processes delivered across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily fund accounting activities to ensure accuracy, quality and timely delivery of services.
• Monitor transaction processing activities and investigate exceptions when required.
• Review reconciliation results and ensure outstanding items are appropriately addressed.
• Perform controls and validation checks on NAV calculations and related accounting outputs.
• Act as a key coordination point for operational issues, incidents and escalations.
• Support business teams in resolving complex operational situations and mitigating production risks.
• Monitor the impact of fund lifecycle events on accounting and operational processes.
• Conduct regular reviews of outsourced operational activities and control frameworks.
• Track service performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and consolidate reporting metrics for governance forums and management reviews.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, service standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to the identification, assessment and mitigation of operational risks affecting Fund Accounting activities.

Your Profile

Technical Expertise

• Strong experience within Fund Accounting environments.
• Proven exposure to NAV Oversight, NAV Control or Fund Accounting Oversight activities.
• Solid understanding of NAV production processes and associated controls.
• Experience reviewing accounting exceptions, reconciliations and operational incidents.
• Knowledge of investment fund operations and fund lifecycle events.
• Familiarity with oversight and governance frameworks within financial services.
• Understanding of UCITS and fund administration environments.
• Experience interacting with multiple operational teams and service providers.
• Ability to analyse operational risks and coordinate remediation actions.
• Experience working in international and regulated financial environments.

Languages

• Fluent English is mandatory.
• French is considered an advantage.

IT Skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Fund Accounting tools and reporting solutions.
• Experience with reconciliation, control or monitoring platforms.
• Good analytical and data reporting capabilities.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
