Role overview
We are currently looking for a dynamic Senior Associate to support our M&A and Value Creation agenda. The role combines M&A execution, post-merger integration, project management, and strategic initiative execution. You will work directly with the Head of Corporate Development, and senior management across the group to ensure that acquisitions are successfully integrated and that strategic initiatives deliver measurable impact.

Key responsibilities
Participate in deal sourcing, preliminary assessments, and financial/operational analysis
Support due diligence workstreams and liaise with advisors
Review and provide input on contractual documentation (SPA, SHA, etc.)
Contribute to investment proposals preparation
Help develop integration cost/synergy estimates during deal evaluation
Keep track of deal structures and payment terms alongside Finance team
Post-Merger Integration (PMI)
Support on integration plans, timelines, budgets, and communication frameworks
Lead cross-functional coordination with key internal functions for integration delivery
Implement M&A dashboards, KPI tracking, synergy tracking tools, and integration reporting frameworks
Maintain standardized playbooks, checklists, and templates for integration reporting
Prepare materials and manage cadence for integration steering committees
Value Creation & Strategic Projects
Lead or support CEO/PE-driven initiatives (strategic opportunities’ review, service offering development, market studies, diagnostics, etc.)
Facilitate workshops, drive alignment, and ensure clarity of responsibilities
Establish best practices and foster a culture of structured execution
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management
Act as central liaison between corporate development and operational leaders

Your profile:
4-7 years of experience in:
Investment Bank, Big 4 M&A / TS (PMI / Deal Value / Ops DD), or
Strategy consulting, or
Corporate development / integration roles in a PE-backed environment
Hands-on experience with post-merger integration
Strong project management skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Analytical and structured thinker with strong presentation skills
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment
Experience in professional services and PE settings is an asset
Fluency in English. French/German is an asset
