Given the ongoing development of AIS, we are currently recruiting:
Facility Safety Officer
The Facility Safety Officer will assist the Facility Senior Manager in all Safety related aspects.
In addition, the Facility Safety Officer assists internally in the optimal functioning of the other 2 key responsibilities Logistics & Security within the Facility team to support AIS business activities.
Your role:
Safety Management:
Identify and coordinate the delivery of Safety training sessions to employees;
Ensure compliance with Safety regulations, fire safety, and health standards;
Plan and conduct periodic controls and business continuity measures in Corporation with the designated worker;
Assist in the planning of evacuation drills in corporation with the designated worker and the property manager;
Keeping the evacuation plans up to date.
Workplace / Logistics Management:
Assist in the day-to-day business the Facility Logistic Officer in the following core competences:
Manage office supply and furniture inventory;
Manage the well-functioning of workplace areas, lounges, sport room, coffee corners, cafeteria and other areas in A9;
Coordinate internal moves for employees and new joiners;
Manage shared car fleet and parking spaces;
Manage waste sorting and disposal. Assist and manage the external cleaning company in this process;
Assist the Facility Senior Manager in overseeing building technical maintenance and liaise with external contractors when appropriate;
Oversee secure storage environments;
Assist in and execute internal mail distribution;
Fruit delivery for AIS staff.
Security Management:
Assist in the day-to-day business the Facility Security Officer in the following core competences:
Identify and coordinate the delivery of security training sessions to employees;
Ensure compliance with security regulations;
Manage building access management across the company. (Badge cards and keys);
Manage Security Company;
Oversee secure storage environments, access controls, and retrieval processes for physical Facility related records.
Additional Responsibilities:
Assist and support the Facility department members and the Facility Senior Manager where ad-hoc required.
Your profile:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a local company;
Holder of a valid Designated Worker Certification is considered as an asset;
Any technical education is an advantage;
Team player;
Organizational and problem-solving abilities;
Communication skills in English and French.
