We’re looking for a Custody Operations Analyst (m/f) to join our client in Luxembourg.
Location: Luxembourg
Mode: On-site with teleworking flexibility after the first 1-3 months.
Contract: CDI (open for permanent employees and/or freelancers)
Language requirement: Fluent English. French and German are beneficial.
Salary: To be discussed.
Qualifications:
Experience in custody operations, securities services, or banking operations preferred.
Knowledge of custody network providers and market infrastructures
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify data discrepancies.
Experience performing reconciliations, account reviews, or remediation activities.
Ability to work accurately and efficiently with large volumes of data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to follow established procedures and work under the guidance of senior staff and SMEs.
Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with a sense of urgency.
Proficient in reviewing operational documentation and system configurations.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities:
Review and validate client custody account setups as part of a high-priority remediation initiative.
Compare account opening documentation against existing custody and market infrastructure configurations.
Perform detailed account-by-account verification across approximately 1,600 custody accounts.
Cross-check information between account opening forms, market counterparties, and internal systems.
Collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
Identify, investigate, and document setup inconsistencies across multiple platforms and providers.
Ensure account configurations comply with internal standards and operational requirements.
Support remediation efforts by maintaining accurate records of findings and corrective actions.
Liaise with internal teams and external custody network providers where required.
Contribute to the timely completion of project deliverables within tight deadlines.
