Senior IT Operations & Engineering Specialist (Banking Systems) (m/f)
Job description :
In an Agile/DevOps environment organised in Tribes/Squads, you will join the Tribe Savings & Investments to work as an IT engineer for the securities domain. Your role will be to cover incident resolution, development/enhancements, IT Risk controls, and technical support for COBOL/Mainframe components, middleware, and vendor packages.
In this job, you will need to :
Diagnose and fix in an efficient way production incidents across COBOL/mainframe, middleware, and external banking packages (e.g BankRec)
Deliver development changes (enhancements, scripting, batch changes, code fixes) by following change management standards (testing, evidencing, deployments)
Support business on daily Operations (e.g SWIFT flows, settlements, reconciliations,…)
Maintain or implement IT Risk controls (Identity and Access Management, change management, backup/restore, monitoring, vulnerability management) with support teams (Tech Security & Tech Platform)
Analyse recurring issues and propose improvements to system stability
Document technical flows, controls, and incident resolutions
Support audit and risk assessments.
Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Risk teams to ensure compliance and resilience.
Your profile :
Experience :
Master or Bachelor degree in IT, with at least 5 years of experience in Securities domain
Technical skills :
Languages : SQL, COBOL, JCL
DBMS : DB2, Oracle
O/S : TSO/MVS, Linux
Tooling : TSO, Compuware Topaz, SPUFI, Filemanager, Abend-Aid
CI/CD : Azure DevOps
Middleware : MQ
IT risk & controls
Securities : Swift messages MT 5xx & MX ISO 20022
