Our client, a major international bank based in Luxembourg, is looking for a Business Analyst / Customer Journey Expert, who will be working in the tribe Wholesale Banking Products & Channels.

Acting as the Single Point of Contact for Wholesale Banking and Financial Markets & Global Treasury, we ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence across all client interactions.

Role overview
This role requires a significant knowledge of Wholesale Banking (incl. funds industry, custody and depositary bank activities), and Financial Market & Treasury products and processes. It combines a client-focused approach with analytical skills and result-oriented thinking and risk thinking.
Your key activities:
Requirements gathering & analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and clarify product-related requirements.
- Truly understand our products, services, and end-to-end customer processes.
- Analyze platform changes and process variations to identify risks.
- Prepare clear and structured functional specifications for development teams.
Risk & compliance management
- Conduct risk assessments on proposed changes and processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal risk frameworks (e.g., NFR, ORM, KYC/AML, Fraud, Information Security) and proactively coordinate with 2nd line of defense teams to secure all required approvals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor and address compliance gaps proactively.
Agile delivery & cross-functional collaboration
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, retrospectives, demos).
- Work closely with Tech teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Drive process simplification and harmonization across functional lines.
- Contribute to team dynamics and foster collaboration to achieve common goals.
