Shape Your Future with Purpose. As part of our growing team, we are looking for a Business Process Monitoring Officer to join the Fund Administration Team of one of its clients, a leading Banking institution on the Luxembourgish market.
Your Role
You oversee the fund accounting work carried out by the bank's international operations centres. You review and validate the NAVs they produce, run periodic controls on transactions, reconciliations and accounting, and you are the person the teams come to when something is blocked or needs to be escalated. You also follow up on service levels and prepare data for the Business Management Committee.
Your key responsibilities
- Monitor transactions and check they are processed correctly
- Monitor reconciliations and follow up on differences
- Review and validate the NAVs produced by the operations centres
- Monitor fund events: share class launches and closures, mergers, liquidations
- Keep day-to-day production running and step in on blocking points
- Run periodic service reviews of the outsourced processes
- Coordinate and follow up on service level agreements
- Collect and prepare the data for the Business Management Committee
- Act as the escalation point between the operations centres and management
- Spot operational and financial risks and raise them early
Your profile
- Degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
- At least 5 years in fund accounting or fund administration, ideally in Luxembourg
- Good command of the NAV cycle and a strong control mindset
- Experience with outsourced operating models and SLAs is a plus
- Knowledge of Lux GAAP and/or IFRS
- Comfortable with fund systems (Multifonds, Hi-Portfolio, eFront or similar) and Excel
- Strong client and partner orientation, with a focus on providing a high-quality service
- Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Rigorous, resilient, detail-oriented and able to work to tight deadlines
- Fluent English is required; French is an asset and additional languages are a plus
- You must already hold the right to work in Luxembourg (EU/EEA national or holder of a valid work permit). Applications requiring visa sponsorship cannot be considered
