Our client, a prestigious European institution based in Luxembourg, is currently seeking an experienced Investor Operations Officer to reinforce its Investor Operations Division for a temporary assignment within a highly international and dynamic environment.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a solid background in financial operations, payments, settlements, and back-office activities, who are looking to contribute to a mission-driven European organization.
Your Responsibilities
Reporting to senior members of the Investor Operations Division, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of operational and control-related activities, including:
- Managing and booking incoming cash flows across various mandate families within the eFront mandate module.
- Monitoring outstanding payments and escalating non-payments where appropriate.
- Preparing bank account opening requests and maintaining accurate static data within internal systems.
- Performing regular mandate-related cash balance and deposit controls, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring proper escalation.
- Coordinating with Finance Office stakeholders to support accurate bookings and reconciliations.
- Supporting operational continuity during peak and holiday periods.
- Assisting in the migration and organization of filing systems to ensure proper document accessibility and compliance.
- Contributing to ISAE control exercises through the collection and verification of supporting documentation.
- Updating and reviewing EUC, Alteryx, and Tableau documentation to ensure completeness and operational reliability.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- A university degree (preferably postgraduate) in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in payments, settlements, operations, or financial back-office functions.
- Strong understanding of middle-office and back-office operational processes.
- Knowledge of PowerApps, Alteryx, and Tableau would be considered a strong asset.
- Familiarity with the functioning of European institutions and/or the EIF environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; additional EU languages are considered an asset.
