QC Electrical engineer M/F

We are looking for a QC Electrical Engineer for one of our clients.

The QC Engineers will be technical figures, acting within the coordination provided by the Project QA/QC Manager.

Responsabilities and duties :

• Prepare project specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) according to specifications and Project Quality Assurance and Control System for Electrical Works
• Review and approve the project QC plans, instructions, procedures for Electrical Works
• Manage inspections, tests and works according to ITPs for Electrical Works
• Coordinate and supervise the subcontractors, in order to ensure documents and work compliance with the contracts and quality, and project structural integrity with construction team.
• Advise the staff to implement product quality, issue reports on quality problems and issue / follow-up non-compliance with standards or regulatory requirements.
• Follow up Calibration Log for Inspection and Testing Equipment for Electrical Works.
• Logging, scanning, and maintaining records and documents, pertinent to QA/QC activities.

Requirements for this position :

• The position holder must have knowledge of Quality Inspections and Testing
• Fluent in English and French
• Proven experience in delivering projects of similar nature
• In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material and project management principles.
• Familiarity with HSE and quality standards
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• B.Sc./BA in engineering, building science or relevant field
