TEAM LEADER ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Function :
Your main mission consists in leading the electrical engineering team to assist product development throughout client’s different business units, in particular satellite antennas and testing instruments. To do so, excellent knowledge of at least two of the following areas are required: electrical engineering, electro-mechanical engineering, automation and software engineering, control theory or RF engineering.
You will support the engineering manager in organising daily operations and you will closely collaborate with all involved project stakeholders.
The responsibilities include:
• Supporting the engineering manager in planning activities, organising daily operations and managing team resources,
• Providing guidance and expertise to the engineering team members,
• Ensuring quality and completeness of technical documentation (incl. technical correctness, quality assurance, traceability and knowledge management aspects),
• Supporting continuous improvement in terms of design & verification processes,
• Supporting the efficient interaction and information flow between disciplines and teams,
• Coming up with development ideas and their realization,
• Pro-actively introducing, documenting and disseminating new technologies and concepts in the technology survey activities of the department. .
Profile :
• Engineer or master level diploma in electrical or automation engineering,
• At least 8 years of experience in a relevant field of activity, including team leadership,
• Ability to work in an English-speaking environment including technical discussions and documentation activities, German, French and Luxembourgish being considered a plus,
• Ability to adapt to new situations and work with various type of stakeholders and partners to achieve the desired results.
