Our client, a European bank based in Kirchberg is looking for its future Data Governance Officer. This position is offered on a 2-month temporary interim contract. Please note that this assignment may be extended, in accordance with Luxembourgish law, for a maximum duration of 1 year.

Your responsabilities :
- Review and analyse the current structure of the Risk Management BBP Self-Assessment repository.
- Propose practical improvements to ensure alignment with the central Bank-wide repository.
- Enable efficient data import from the central system into the RM repository.
- Ensure proper reconciliation and consistency of data between both systems.
- Improve the ability to extract data in the required reporting formats.
- Clean and streamline the repository by removing outdated, duplicated, or unused fields.
- Ensure consistent naming conventions and regulatory references across systems.
- Verify that all entries contain the correct identification numbers and references.
- Clearly distinguish between:
- Historical or superseded documents
- Current consolidated regulations
- Specific sections or sub-sections of regulatory texts
- Identify and correct inconsistencies in the data.
- Implement approved changes while maintaining proper documentation and audit trail.
- Review and improve the process for entering new data.
- Update procedures and documentation to reflect system and process changes.
Your profile :
- University degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, Information Management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in data management, business process analysis, or documentation.
- Experience working with regulatory frameworks in a banking or financial environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Best Banking Practices would be a plus.
- Exposure to credit or financial risk management is an asset.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Very good knowledge of English and/or French, with a good command of the other language.
- Knowledge of additional EU languages is considered an advantage.
