Market Monitoring
- Understands local market dynamics and category insights. Makes correct product recommendations.
- Analyses customers' assortment developing recommendation for range reviews.
- Analyses price gaps between private label and brands to understand McBride competitiveness.
- Monitors local brands and competitors (in collaboration with R&D and Sales) and understand relevant insights
Category Planning
- Supports the Category Leader for their product in the category and uses the NPD/EPD projects to draft his/ her recommendation.
- May integrate McBride brands in the category range recommendations.
Product Portfolio Management
- Defines portfolio characteristics (formulas & packaging)
- Creates product ranges for each segment included needed customization
- Ensures performance and costs meets market's needs
- Defines claims and ensures validation (from R&D)
- Coordinates the process to agree category's complexity rules
- Works within the defined complexity rules and coordinates derogation process
Project Management
- Leads product related projects using relevant tools
- Ensures project completion within agreed timelines and budget
Customers / Tenders Support
- Collaborates with R&D and Sales to define products' offers
- Supports sales teams in selling the targeted product offer
- Attends and actively contributes in customers' meetings together with Sales
- Collaborates in offer briefing process (product range, recommended shelf prices)
- Follows up customers requests with relevant stakeholders
- Prepares and delivers customer's presentations for NPDs
