Middle Office Manager - Life Insurance

We are looking for the Middle Office Manager, for a newly created role.

Our client is a stable European Life Insurance Company, well established in Luxembourg.

Description

As the new Middle Office Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Middle Office. You will oversee all activities related to the service (Order Execution, Reconciliation, Position Keeping, Valuation, and Reporting). You ensure cross-departmental coordination with all departments of the insurance company.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Help the Head of Middle Office with the management of the team (10p) and team training
• Participate in ongoing project management and process improvement
• Execute, monitor and control the Net Asset Values (NAV) positions, movements, portfolios, asset characteristics
• Supervise the Middle Office activities, from NAV calculation to reconciliations, including tracking of financial orders
• Strengthen quality control monitoring and cultivate a culture of quality within the team
• Review procedures and formulate recommendations to enhance operational processes
• Supervise the reporting production towards regulatory authorities

Profile

Your profile

• University diploma in accounting, finance or equivalent
• 8 years of experience in Middle Office/Operations for the Insurance Sector
• Good knowledge of NAV calculation and financial products
• You have a first relevant experience in team management
• Fluency in French and English
