POSTE
For one of our clients, a European Institution located in Luxembourg Kirchberg, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a: Chief Executive/Deputy Chief Executive - Eligibility Services Officer (M/F)
Job Description:
The temporary Eligibility Services Officer will support the team in the execution of the activities of the Unit, contribute to the analysis of eligibility compliance, and assist in the preparation of reports and documentation.
Operating Network
- Reports to the Head of Eligibility Unit.
- Works closely to the other members of the GES Unit.
- Liaises with financial intermediaries and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Execution of eligibility monitoring activities (desk-based) including preparation of monitoring reports and other relevant documentation and liaison with financial intermediaries.

Technical Competencies
- Understanding of EU financial instruments, their objectives and operational framework, particularly those targeting SMEs.
- Familiarity with the functioning, contractual setup, and key operational aspects of guarantee schemes, including risk-sharing mechanisms and compliance requirements.
- Previous exposure to intermediated debt products and eligibility monitoring activities would be a strong advantage.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret legal and contractual documentation, particularly in the context of EU financial instruments eligibility and operational criteria.
- Demonstrated interest in EU mandates, State Aid regulations, and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) policies.
- Familiarity with?data analysis,?Excel, and/or?monitoring tools would be an asset.
- Attention to details and analytical thinking.
- Willingness and ability to learn and work with new internal systems and data environments.
PROFIL
Qualifications
- University degree in Economics, Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in audit, monitoring and / or advisory.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other EU languages is an asset
This is an opportunity for an initial contract of 2 months, with possible extensions afterwards.
Salary ranges between 4500EUR and 6400EUR gross per month, depending on experience
