For one of our clients, a leading organisation within the financial sector in Luxembourg, we are currently looking for an experienced Loan Officer to join its team on a temporary basis.
The successful candidate will support the management of lending operations throughout the full loan lifecycle, covering loan administration, transaction processing, monitoring, controls and reporting.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage loan transactions and support the administration of the loan portfolio
- Perform loan bookings and process interest and fee invoicing
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of internal lending databases
- Support internal and external reporting
- Monitor loan events, including amendments and waivers
- Follow up on contractual terms, obligations and rights related to lending operations
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of lending processes and internal controls
- Depending on experience, contribute to credit risk monitoring and crisis preparedness activities
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in lending transactions, loan operations or loan administration, OR at least 5 years of experience in a banking or financial Middle Office environment
- Good understanding of loan documentation, lending products and operational loan terms
- Experience in loan portfolio administration, control and monitoring
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Good command of Excel and experience working with financial data
- Knowledge of credit risk monitoring and financial modelling would be an asset
- Knowledge of Power BI/DAX or Python would be considered an advantage
- Previous experience within an international financial environment would be an asset
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are advantageous
