Today, we interviewed Craig Morris, the Managing Director of FeneTech Europe, based in Aurora Ohio, US and Luxembourg. This company offers a highly integrated software ERP solution for the glass industry. Let's discover this international company that is hiring in the Grand-Duchy!

 

The solution covers every single aspect from quoting, order entry, capacity planning, purchasing, stock control, production scheduling, online and dynamic glass cutting optimization, CNC control of machinery, tracking based on bar-codes and touch screens, delivery planning, invoicing, statistical warehousing and much more. The newest software release is called FeneVision MAX.

 

Moovijob: Could you introduce yourself?


Hello, I’m Craig Morris the Managing Director of FeneTech Europe. I started with FeneTech in 2000 as a software and systems engineer and today oversee operations in our US and Europe offices. FeneTech develops and markets industry leading software systems for glass fabrication and window-door manufacturers. FeneTech also provides implementation, training, and support services. FeneTech prides itself not only in its software but also the commitment we make to our customers; where we strive to provide the best products, service, and support.

 

Moovijob: What HR challenges do you face in your branch activity?


M.C.: FeneTech services all European customers out of our Bertrange Luxembourg office. As such, our main challenge is finding good technical resources that also speak multiple European languages. With our commitment to service and support, it is important that each member of our staff speak multiple languages.

 

Moovijob: What is the originality of your company in terms of work environment, international opportunities and teamwork?


M.C.: I would say the originality of our company starts with the close teamwork and customer relationships we develop. We also like to challenge employees with opportunities to grow outside the office. Our work takes us all of the world with customers in Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia, and North America. As a result employees have the opportunity to travel, participate in sales, and other business development activities. It can be very exciting for those seeking diversity and challenges.

 

Moovijob: For you, the right candidate is ...


M.C.: I look for candidates who not only show an aptitude to learn but who are also very passionate about their work. Just being good will get you by but having a great work ethic, striving to learn and excel, are qualities that help elevate the individual and organization.

 

Moovijob: What are the essential skills to integrate your business?


M.C.: From a technical standpoint, having a strong IT background in programming technologies, database systems, reporting, and systems architecture. We also look for candidates who have experience implementing software systems, enjoy travel, and can work with clients to define process and system requirements. And of course, can speak multiple languages.

 

Moovijob: What are the possibilities of career growth within your company?


M.C.: As FeneTech grows and establishes success throughout Europe, and abroad, there will be opportunities for growth in the areas of Business Development, Customer Care, and Project Management. Again, we are always looking for energetic and driven employees who will help the company grow in existing as well as new markets.
