EU and international public policy consulting - Trainee (m/f)
PwC’s Public Policy Advisory Team works with EU and international institutions to help them find the best solutions to global challenges and to address citizens’ needs. Our knowledge of public sector issues, as well as our industry expertise and global reach help institutions develop new policies, programmes and services to improve public services.
We provide services to a broad range of European Union Institutions, Multilateral Development Banks and International Organisations and on their behalf offer technical assistance to public or private sector organisations in Europe and around the world. Our work covers themes including sustainable finance, access to finance for SMEs, financial instruments, growth policies, innovation and entrepreneurship. Our projects cover the entire life cycle of design, implementation and evaluation for public policies, financial instruments and specific programmes and projects.
Your role
As an Intern(m/f) in our IPS (Industries and Public Sector) Policy Advice team, you will be supporting our teams in delivering value to our clients in the public sector, and more precisely:
- You will be part of a team of management consultants and work on tasks such as desk research, surveys, interviews, qualitative and quantitative data analysis
- You will be part of client assignment teams and assist in the preparation and implementation of client meetings and workshops;
- You will take part in the preparation of proposals for our clients in the context of public procurement procedures;
Your profile
- You will soon graduate with a master’s degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in economics, finance, public policy, international relations, European studies, business administration and management, law, or related subjects, and you are looking for a 6-month internship;
- You are interested in working on consulting projects within the public sector (experience from consulting or public sector organisations from previous internships is considered an asset);
- You have native or advanced level of English; other languages will be considered an asset.
- You work autonomously and manage priorities;
- You have good interpersonal and professional communication skills.
