Architect CMDB
I am looking for a 100% remote CMDB architect for one of my clients in Luxembourg.
Responsibilities:
1. CMDB Design and Implementation:
• Lead the design and implementation of the Configuration Management Database
(CMDB) in alignment with the project's network, security, and infrastructure
requirements.
• Define and enforce CMDB standards, policies, and procedures.
2. Integration with Network and Security Systems:
• Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure seamless integration of CMDB
with relevant systems and tools.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to gather requirements and
implement effective solutions.
3. Data Modeling and Mapping:
• Conduct data modelling and mapping exercises to capture and represent the
Relationships between various infrastructure components in the CMDB.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date information within the CMDB, reflecting the current
State of the network and security infrastructure.
4. Change Management:
• Work closely with the change management team to assess the impact of changes on the
CMDB and update configuration items accordingly.
• Provide guidance on best practices for change management within the CMDB
Framework.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
• Create comprehensive documentation for CMDB processes, procedures, and
Configurations.
• Generate regular reports on the status and health of the CMDB for management review.
Sensitivity Label: General
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in [relevant field] or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as a CMDB Architect in projects focused on network, security, and
Infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of CMDB concepts, data modelling, and mapping.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with industry best practices and emerging trends in CMDB and IT infrastructure.
