Assistant Educator

As part of our development, we are recruiting an Assistant Educator (M/F) on a fixed-term contract (CDD) to work at our creche or afterschool in Luxembourg.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Welcome and supervise children;
• Guide children in learning daily life skills and community rules;
• Create a secure, affectionate, and stimulating environment for children;
• Plan and organize educational activities suited to children’s development;
• Ensure the physical and psychological well-being of children at all times;
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the overall well-being of children;
• Support each child’s individual development;
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks (clearing and cleaning tables, loading/unloading the dishwasher, etc.);
• Observe and assess children’s progress and provide feedback to families;
• Maintain a trust-based relationship with parents.

Your Profile:

• You hold a diploma qualifying you to work as an Assistant Educator in Luxembourg (e.g., CAP AEPE, BTS in Health and Social Studies, BEA or 118-hour Training in Childcare, DAP in Life Assistance, Bachelor’s Degree (Bac+3) outside the psycho-social, pedagogical, or socio-educational field, language degrees, State Diploma in Childcare Assistance (DEAP), etc.);
• You have a good level of French and English (any additional language is a plus);
• Knowledge of young children’s needs and development;
• Ability to work in a team (#teamspirit) and communicate effectively;
• You are kind, creative, curious, and respectful;
• You are flexible, organized, and dynamic.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position (40 hours per week);
• Fixed-term contract;
• Salary based on qualifications.
