A major industrial player in the automotive sector is looking for a committed and hands-on Shift Team Leader to supervise production teams and drive operational excellence.
This role is ideal for a team-oriented leader with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coach production operators during shift operations.
- Develop team versatility to adapt to changing customer and production needs.
- Promote and monitor safe work behaviors and ensure compliance with safety rules.
- Provide leadership and direction to foster ownership, responsibility, and skill development.
- Deploy Lean tools and promote Lean thinking across the team.
- Support the team in achieving quality, yield, and volume targets in collaboration with Learning & Development.
- Lead improvement actions to reduce customer claims and enhance performance.
- Detect deviations, anticipate issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and track progress.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in mechanical or industrial fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation (3x8).
- Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory, and process control.
- LEAN mindset and experience with continuous improvement tools.
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and French; German is a strong asset.
