A major industrial player in the automotive sector is looking for a committed and hands-on Shift Team Leader to supervise production teams and drive operational excellence.


This role is ideal for a team-oriented leader with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coach production operators during shift operations.
  • Develop team versatility to adapt to changing customer and production needs.
  • Promote and monitor safe work behaviors and ensure compliance with safety rules.
  • Provide leadership and direction to foster ownership, responsibility, and skill development.
  • Deploy Lean tools and promote Lean thinking across the team.
  • Support the team in achieving quality, yield, and volume targets in collaboration with Learning & Development.
  • Lead improvement actions to reduce customer claims and enhance performance.
  • Detect deviations, anticipate issues, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and track progress.


Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in mechanical or industrial fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Willingness to work in a 3-shift rotation (3x8).
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory, and process control.
  • LEAN mindset and experience with continuous improvement tools.
  • Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and French; German is a strong asset.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and aligned with company values.
