Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement and enforce network security measures to protect data and systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and deploy network solutions that meet organizational needs.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Network Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper).
- Solid understanding of Windows and Unix operating systems.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
