We are currently assisting our long-standing partner, a renowned PFS, based in Luxembourg in their search for their future Head of Compliance to join their team.

Our partner provides its clients with expertise in Accountancy, Tax, Fund Administration, Corporate governance and Compliance and have developed quite a loyal client portfolio. As a result, the company is today represented by approximately 30 collaborators, allowing you to pursue your career in a human-sized environment where everyone knows one another.

As Head of Compliance, you will lead the department as well as be involved in a variety of projects within the PFS on a local and international level, offering you a lot of say in how things are organized and having versatility in your position.

We are also looking for someone with vast experience in alternative investment funds in different investment strategies, with a great sense of rigor and eye for detail, and ideally team management.

Your Responsibilities | Head of Compliance – Compliance – Legal – Regulatory – PSF - PFS

• You oversee the Compliance Team and drive successful reporting, remediation plans and cross-over functions with other business units and the Board of Directors (to which you report and for whom you prepare AML/CFT reports on a regular basis). You also act as RC.
• Development, monitoring, and updating of Company policies and practices in accordance with CSSF criteria. You also ensure that the company operates in accordance with law and applicable guidelines and report any potential incoherences.
• You will be assisted by a team of two other experienced compliance officers.
• Assistance in the identification, review, and reporting of relevant KPIs to the Board of Directors.
• Participation to both internal and external audits and acting as the main point of contact for regulatory authorities including the CSSF.
  
  

Profile and Career Path | Head of Compliance – Compliance – Legal – Regulatory – PSF - PFS

• With at least 10 years of experience as Compliance Officer in a PSF, investment firm or similar environment in Luxembourg, you have acquired a great sense of autonomy.
• You are ideally already Head of Compliance/RC or can easily be approved by the CSSF as such. This criterion is a prerequisite.
• You are highly experienced with Alternative Investment Funds.
• A fluent command of English is required. Any other language, such as French, will be a plus.
• You have an excellent understanding of the regulatory environment in Luxembourg.
• You can demonstrate a certain stability in your career path and have not changed employers every year for example.
