As a VMware NSX-T Architect (m/f), you will lead the deployment and management of network virtualization solutions within our team. You will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and optimizing NSX-T deployments for data center rollouts, ensuring streamlined network configuration, advanced security, and compliance.
Your main responsability:
- Architect and lead the deployment of VMware NSX-T for data center rollouts, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Collaborate with teams to design and implement NSX-T solutions
- Develop and implement automation workflows to streamline network configuration processes, leveraging tools such as vRealize Automation (vRA) and Ansible
- Design and implement advanced security layers within NSX-T, including micro-segmentation, distributed firewalling, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDPS)
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with global teams to develop and maintain consistent NSX-T solutions across different geographical regions and data centers
- Utilize VMware vRealize Operations (vROps) and VMware vRealize Network Insight (vRNI) for monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting on NSX-T environments
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks, network anomalies, and security threats, taking timely corrective actions as needed
- Document NSX-T configurations, architecture diagrams, and deployment procedures to ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer within the team
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Proven experience with NSX-T implementations in large-scale environments, preferably within the public sector or service provider industry
- VMware certifications, such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and VMware Certified Specialist - NSX-T Data Center
- Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) concepts, hybrid network architectures, and integration with public cloud platforms
- Excellent understanding of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
- Proficiency in SDN concepts and VMware EHC Cloud (Enterprise Hybrid Cloud)
- Knowledge of network virtualization technologies such as Geneve, vSAN, and Nutanix
