Our client, a leading professional services firm in Luxembourg, is strengthening its IFRS Advisory practice and is looking for an experienced IFRS Manager with a strong advisory mindset. Recognised for its expertise in audit, tax, and high value advisory services, the firm supports international clients on complex accounting, structuring, and transaction related matters.
This role is designed for a senior IFRS professional who wants to move beyond pure compliance and act as a strategic advisor to clients, while playing a key role in team leadership and practice development.
As an IFRS Advisory Manager, you will support international clients, mainly active in Private Equity and Real Estate, on complex IFRS topics linked to transactions, structuring, and financial reporting decisions. You will be involved early in client discussions, helping them interpret standards, assess impacts, and make informed decisions.
You will also contribute to the development of the advisory offering and act as a reference point within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- IFRS Advisory & Client Support
Act as a trusted advisor on IFRS matters related to acquisitions, restructurings, valuations, and complex transactions. - Transaction & Structuring Advisory
Analyse complex transactions and advise clients on appropriate accounting treatments and consolidation approaches. - High-Level Financial Reporting Review
Oversee and review IFRS financial statements with a focus on interpretation and judgement rather than execution only. - Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long term client relationships and actively contribute to business development. - Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop consultants and seniors, while ensuring technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
Profile Sought
- At least 7 years of experience in IFRS consulting or advisory
- Strong exposure to IFRS advisory work, beyond statutory compliance
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Fluency in English and good working knowledge of French
- Background in a Big 4 or recognised professional services firm
- Ability to manage client relationships and lead teams autonomously
