Our client is the AIFM entity of a prestigious international financial group, predominantly focused on Private Equity. Its Luxembourg office employs approximately 60 professionals and serves as a strategic and decision-making hub for the group.

The Luxembourg entity brings together all key ManCo functions, including Risk, Compliance, Controlling, Accounting, Corporate and Legal.

You will join a highly qualitative and intellectually stimulating environment composed of experienced professionals. The organisation is particularly flat, encouraging direct communication, visibility and genuine involvement in the company's projects and decisions.

As part of its continued development, the company is currently looking for two Junior Investment Controllers.

Your Responsibilities

You will join a close-knit finance team and gain excellent exposure to the funds' activities and the ManCo's different departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing NAV calculations prepared by fund administrators;
• Reviewing financial statements and periodic reports;
• Verifying financial data and fund transactions;
• Reviewing tax and regulatory matters, including FATCA and CRS;
• Coordinating with fund administrators and external service providers;
• Collaborating with the Risk, Compliance, Accounting, Corporate and Legal teams;
• Contributing to the improvement of internal procedures and control tools;
• Gradually becoming involved in operational matters and cross-functional projects.

This is not a NAV production or calculation position. Your role will focus on review, control, analysis and coordination, allowing you to develop a comprehensive understanding of Private Equity funds.

As your expertise develops, you will gain greater autonomy and become involved in increasingly operational and strategic matters.

Your Profile

• You have between 6 months and 2 years of experience in fund administration, fund accounting or fund controlling;
• You have ideally gained exposure to alternative investment funds or Private Equity;
• A background in fund audit may also be considered, particularly when combined with exposure to fund accounting;
• You understand NAV mechanisms and are comfortable reviewing financial statements;
• You are fluent in English;
• French at a B1/B2 level or above would be considered an advantage;
• You are rigorous, curious, committed and highly attentive to detail;
• You have a genuine interest in Private Equity and want to build your career in this field;
