I'm currently assisting a highly regarded law firm in Luxembourg with the recruitment of a Tax Lawyer.

Although part of a well-established international law firm, the Luxembourg office has retained a close-knit and entrepreneurial atmosphere. Thanks to a strong international network, the Tax team benefits from a steady flow of cross-border work while continuing to expand its local practice.

One of the firm's core philosophies is simple: it is better to be overstaffed than understaffed. Rather than maximising billable hours at the expense of its lawyers, the firm has chosen to invest in sustainable growth and long-term retention.

As a result, it offers one of the lowest billable hour targets on the Luxembourg legal market, with only 1,200 billable hours required to unlock the first bonus level. This reflects a genuine commitment to work-life balance and a long-term approach to developing its lawyers

The Role :

As part of the Tax team, you will advise a broad portfolio of Luxembourg and international clients on a wide range of domestic and cross-border tax matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Advising corporate and institutional clients on Luxembourg tax matters.
• Assisting with the tax aspects of M&A, private equity and corporate transactions.
• Providing tax structuring advice for international clients and investment vehicles.
• Conducting legal research and preparing tax memoranda.
• Drafting and reviewing tax-related documentation.
• Working closely with Partners and clients on complex, high-value matters.

Your Profile :

• Admitted to List I, II or IV of the Luxembourg Bar.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Tax Law (more experienced candidates are also welcome to apply).
• Experience gained within a Luxembourg law firm.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Strong technical skills, commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset.
