Freelance Google Ads Specialist – Full Remote

We are looking for an experienced Freelance Google Ads Specialist to work across various digital acquisition projects, from campaign strategy and setup to ongoing management and performance optimization.

The ideal candidate should be able to independently manage Google Ads accounts, quickly identify opportunities for improvement and drive campaigns with a strong focus on performance and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Audit existing Google Ads accounts and identify optimization opportunities
  

• Define campaign structures and strategies based on business objectives
  

• Create, configure and manage Search, Display, Remarketing and Performance Max campaigns
  

• Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis
  

• Structure campaigns, ad groups and audiences
  

• Create, optimize and test ads and assets
  

• Define and optimize bidding strategies and budget allocation
  

• Analyze search terms and manage negative keywords
  

• Set up, review and troubleshoot conversion tracking
  

• Use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to measure campaign performance
  

• Monitor key metrics including impressions, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, CPA and ROAS
  

• Run tests and experiments to continuously improve campaign performance
  

• Identify the highest-performing campaigns, audiences, keywords and ads
  

• Produce clear performance reports with actionable recommendations
  

• Stay up to date with Google Ads developments, features and best practices
  

Profile

• Strong and demonstrable experience managing Google Ads campaigns
  

• Excellent knowledge of Search campaigns and Google bidding strategies
  

• Good command of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
  

• Strong understanding of conversion tracking and attribution
  

• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into concrete optimization actions
  

• Good understanding of lead generation and digital acquisition
  

• Strong ROI and performance-driven mindset, beyond visibility metrics
  

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
  

• Autonomous, organized, proactive and detail-oriented
  

Experience working across different industries and the ability to provide concrete examples of campaigns and results achieved will be highly valued.
