As a Project Manager – Media Education, you will contribute to the development and implementation of national approaches, concepts and projects in the field of media education;
You will analyse current and emerging developments in the media landscape and their implications for primary and secondary education, identify needs arising from educational practice, and translate these into coherent concepts, projects and measures;
The position requires a strong conceptual foundation in media education and the ability to draw on established pedagogical approaches, research findings and evaluation results. You will apply and adapt existing concepts to new educational contexts, further develop existing approaches and contribute to the design of new concepts where required;
Working at the intersection of strategic development, educational research and practice, you will contribute to translating national priorities into concrete projects, resources and measures for schools, teachers and other educational stakeholders.
Missions
- Analysis and conceptual development:
- Analysing complex developments and challenges related to media and education, identifying current and emerging needs in primary and secondary education, and translating these into coherent pedagogical concepts, recommendations and measures.
- Media education concepts:
- Reviewing, applying and adapting established media education approaches and frameworks to different educational contexts, further developing existing concepts and contributing to the development of new approaches.
- Research-informed development:
- Drawing on relevant research, evaluation results and developments in media education to inform the design and continuous development of concepts, projects and measures.
- Project management:
- Designing, leading and implementing pilot projects as well as national and international projects in the field of media education.
- Transfer into educational practice:
- Translating strategic orientations and pedagogical concepts into concrete projects, resources and measures for educational practice and supporting their implementation, evaluation and adaptation.
- Coordination and collaboration:
- Coordinating and facilitating working groups and project teams and fostering effective collaboration with schools and other internal and external partners at national and international level.
- Editorial work and communication:
- Structuring complex content and producing high-quality concepts, reports, recommendations, pedagogical resources, reference documents, presentations and communication materials adapted to different target audiences.
- Cross-project contribution:
- Contributing to other innovation projects and cross-departmental initiatives of the division, providing conceptual, project management and editorial support where required.
Profil
Compétences techniques
- Strong theoretical and conceptual knowledge of media education and related pedagogical approaches;
- Ability to analyse current and emerging developments in the media landscape and assess their implications for primary and secondary education;
- Strong analytical, strategic and conceptual thinking skills, including the ability to analyse complex issues and identify relevant educational needs;
- Ability to translate strategic priorities, research findings and needs from educational practice into coherent concepts, projects and concrete measures;
- Ability to critically assess existing media education concepts and frameworks, adapt them to new contexts and contribute to their further development;
- Good understanding of relevant research and evaluation approaches in the field of media education and ability to integrate evidence into conceptual and project development;
- Strong project management and organisational skills, including the ability to independently plan, coordinate, monitor and deliver complex or parallel projects;
- Excellent writing and editorial skills, with the ability to structure complex content and draft, edit, proofread and finalise high-quality professional and pedagogical documents for different audiences;
- Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills;
- Good understanding of current developments and challenges in education, digital media and the evolving media landscape;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in at least two of the administrative languages of Luxembourg (Luxembourgish, French and German). Proficiency in English is an advantage.

- Experience in designing and implementing pilot projects or national and international educational projects;
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary or multi-stakeholder projects;
- Good knowledge of Luxembourg’s education system.
Conditions d’admission
Ce poste peut être pourvu sous le statut de fonctionnaire de l'État ou d'employé de l'État. Vous n'avez pas à choisir votre statut au moment de postuler : celui-ci est déterminé au terme du processus de recrutement, en fonction des conditions à remplir pour chaque statut. Le poste est également ouvert au changement d'administration des fonctionnaires.

Niveau d’études
Vous êtes titulaire d’un grade ou diplôme délivré par un établissement d’enseignement supérieur reconnu par l’État du siège de l’établissement et sanctionnant l’accomplissement avec succès d’un master en sciences de l’éducation, éducation aux médias, études des médias, sciences de la communication, psychologie, sciences sociales ou de son équivalent.
Le grade ou diplôme requis doit correspondre au moins au niveau 7 tel que défini par le Cadre luxembourgeois des qualifications.
Expérience
Vous avez une expérience d'au moins 3 ans dans le domaine.
Langues
Vous devez remplir les conditions générales de connaissance des trois langues administratives. Ces conditions ne s'appliquent pas dans le cadre d'un changement d'administration. Une dispense de deux des trois langues administratives peut être accordée sous certaines conditions.
Nationalité
Vous êtes ressortissant d’un État membre de l’Union européenne.
