On behalf of a prominent international financial services firm in Luxembourg, we are hiring a Senior Specialist in Statutory and Finance Reporting to join their expanding finance department.
You will become part of a finance team recognised for high performance, providing support for audit activities, financial reporting, and group restructuring initiatives across EMEA countries. Internal collaboration with tax, legal, and treasury teams, alongside external auditors and advisors, will be essential to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Draft consolidated and standalone financial statements in accordance with local GAAP in multiple countries, including Poland, Germany, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, UK, Italy, Denmark, and Finland
- Work with statutory auditors to ensure compliance and quality
- Record group restructuring activities properly in the financial statements.
- Maintain global collaboration with finance colleagues to uphold reporting standards
- Expand understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and other local accounting frameworks
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex data and provide business-relevant recommendations
- Organized and capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex financial concepts for stakeholders
- Flexible and comfortable working in a multi-jurisdictional, fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English and Polish
- Professional accounting credentials such as ACCA or CIMA
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Fluency in Polish is a real asset.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across global teams
