We are recruting for one of our clients, we are looking for a Tax Compliance Officer to support and strengthen our tax function. Working closely with the Partner, you will play a key role in developing the department, improving processes, and increasing overall maturity. This position combines technical tax work with a strong administrative component and offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform first-level reviews of tax filings (corporate tax and VAT)
- Prepare and support the filing of Luxembourg tax returns
- Manage administrative tax tasks, including:
- Monitoring tax correspondence
- Handling tax payments and follow-up
- Liaising with external service providers and stakeholders
- Maintain and update tax-related databases and ensure data accuracy
- Support VAT compliance, including preparation and review of VAT returns
- Contribute to personal tax and transfer pricing topics when required
- Assist in managing entities with significant real estate holdings
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with local regulations
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax compliance
- Background in Big4, fiduciary services, or within a fund/operational company
- Solid knowledge of corporate tax and VAT
- Familiarity with Luxembourg tax environment is a strong advantage.
- Experience with administrative tax processes and data management
- Strong analytical and logical mindset
Languages
- Fluent in French
- Good command of English (minimum B2 - able to follow meetings and write emails)
- Proactive and dynamic attitude
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good judgment on when to escalate issues
- Problem-solving mindset
