Financial Accountant (Investment firm)

This newly created role will give you the opportunity to join a highly pleasant and professional finance team and support them with the growth of activities and digital transformation. Reporting to the accounting managers, you will contribute to the day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities while supporting the automation of the existing finance processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities for several group entities (mainly in Luxembourg, France and Germany)
• Prepare accounting entries, reconciliations, and monthly closings in accordance with Lux GAAP and IFRS
• Support reporting, audit, tax, and compliance requirements (including VAT and corporate tax returns)
• Contribute to the year-end process and the preparation of annual accounts under Lux GAAP and IFRS, including disclosures
• Assist in the implementation of the Finance’s team policies and processes for effective management of operations
• Contribute to the advancement and integration of finance systems to enable automation and performance enhancements, including AI-driven initiatives
• Coordinate and work with other departments of the Company for the overall efficiency of the Finance team

Your Profile 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related discipline. An addition certification (ACCA, OEC, DSCG) would be considered a strong asset. 
• A first experience of 5+ years in operational accounting and finance
• Excellent understanding of Lux GAAP and IFRS. French and German GAAP are considered as an asset.
• Prior experience using accounting software and advanced Excel skills  
• Strong affinity for digital tools, process automation, and emerging finance technologies, including AI
• Fluent in French and English; German is considered an asset 
• Hands-on, organized, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
