This newly created role based in Paris will give you the opportunity to work directly with the Managing Director Client Services and join a global client services team supporting the sales team of a prestigious private equity asset manager. You will be acting as a central point of contact for institutional and wholesale clients based in France and support when required the other European teams. Your main responsibility will be to work primarily with the International Distribution team and coordinate with Partners across Operations, Marketing, Research, Asset Management, and Compliance teams.

Your Responsibilities


  • Manage all client queries and process their portfolio requests to agreed service levels. 
  • Participation in sales and/or client events.
  • Handle clients’ inquiries regarding fund features, portfolio management, and market and economic data.
  • Deliver client onboarding, including coordination with internal (Operations, AML/KYC, Legal & Compliance) and external stakeholders (transfer agent, custodian, third parties) when required.
  • Complete requests for proposals (RFP), requests for information (RFI), manager and operational due diligence questionnaires (DDQ), and ad-hoc requests from prospective and existing investors.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly customized client and regulatory reports
  • Work on Distribution Agreements, platform registrations, and KYC in collaboration with Compliance.
  • Act as a first line for a competitor and fund analysis using internal and external tools such as Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, eVestment Analytics, FactSet, and Style Analytics.
  • Be responsible for inflows and outflows from Partners UCITS, SMA, sub-advisory, and mandates allocated to the international team.

Your Profile 


  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a sales support and/or client service role within the asset management business and AMF certified.
  • Broad experience across major asset classes. Have sufficient product knowledge to enable both reactive and proactive product-level discussions with clients and prospects.
  • Ability to use external tools such as Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, eVestment Analytics, FactSet, Style Analytics, PowerBI, and Salesforce in addition to Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with local country distribution across all channels, especially institutional and wholesale channels. An experience with clients in other regions is appreciated.
  • A self-starter with the ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, team-orientated environment and take proactive action to identify and resolve problems and exploit opportunities.
  • Proven ability to prioritize, and manage multiple assignments, with attention to quality and details and meet deadlines.
