Your mission :

Join our innovative team as an Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, maintenance and optimization of our Cloud Development tools & Development environment offer. This team is responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting the Developer’s tools and development environment used by the organisation. If you have experience with tools and languages like Git, Python, TypeScript, Node.JS and knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC, Terraform), and have a strong AWS hands-on experience, then we invite you to be a key contributor to these subjects.

Responsibilities:
1. Architecture and Design:
• Design scalable, highly available, secure, and cost-optimized AWS architectures.
• Architect cloud solutions using AWS compute, storage, networking, database, and serverless services.
• Translate business and technical requirements into high- and low-level architecture designs.
• Design resilient, fault-tolerant, and disaster-recovery architectures.
• Lead architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet security, reliability, and operational requirements.

2. Software Development:
• Collaborate with team members to write efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• You show code ownership through team code reviews, security and quality checks, and implementation of COSMOS best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing services by identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Write unit tests and integration tests where necessary to increase the confidence during development and deployment of the code.

3. Automation and Orchestration:
• Utilize GitLab, CI/CD, and scripting skills to automate the deployment and analysis of code.
• Design and implement automation to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring tasks

4. Collaboration:
• Work closely with cross-functional team members, including architects, system administrators, and other developers, to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to foster effective collaboration within the squad.
• Engage in knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to the collective expertise of the team.

5. Documentation:
• Document architecture, code, scripts, and configurations thoroughly to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer within the squad.
• Contribute to the creation, review and maintenance of technical documentation for the squad.

Your profile :

Qualifications:
• AWS certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• A DevOps or DevSecOps certification is a plus.

Technical Skills:
• Must have strong experience on AWS (VPC, Networking, Route 53, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Serverless, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, Athena, EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ALB/NLB,WorkSpaces, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, …);
• Service management experience (ITIL or similar);
• Windows, Linux system administration;
• IT architecture (architecture patterns, application architecture, infrastructure architecture, system integration, security);
• DevSecOps and GitLab pipelines expertise;
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK);
• Configuration Management (Ansible);
• Very good knowledge of Internet standards and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTPS, …)
• Knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP;
• Hands on experience with Containers (Docker, Podman), Kubernetes clusters;
• Good knowledge of IT security principles;
• Practical experience in software development (Git, Python, TypeScript, Node.JS)
• Experience with AI development including agentic, experience with delivering AI solutions to customers at scale;
• Plus point: Nice to have experience on Azure (Terraform and automation)

Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cloud architect/engineer.
• Proven track record of working in a collaborative and agile development environment (Scrum and SAFe framework).

Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude with a strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Community management experience / support experience / communication handling.
• Strong team player.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Requirements:
• EU citizenship.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in any other European language is a plus
