Industrial Strategic Buyer
Your mission:
- Define the needs together with R&D and Production, sourcing suppliers, making requests, negotiating and concluding frame-contracts for new projects;
- Optimize supply chain by all adequate actions: contracts, strategic supplies, application of lean-just in time principles,
- Manage all sourcing-purchasing projects for dedicated business units, define category strategies;
- Handle the Supplier Relationship Management (contacts, market data, negotiations, conditions, payments, complaints, supplier visits);
- Maintain of Master Data by collecting and maintaining SAP system,
- Strategic optimization of procurement activities for several product categories.
Our expectations:
- Must have:
- Have a Master in Purchasing or equivalent
- A minimum 5 years experience in purchasing in industrial sector
- Feel comfortable to discuss technical details with suppliers and R&D (understanding process flows, technical drawings, technical specification on material or treatment)
- Proficient in utilizing ERP systems such as SAP S4/Hana
- Good knowledge of Microsoft suite
- Professional use of English is mandatory. French or German is a plus
- Soft skills :
- You have good communication skills, you are assertive and can convince your strategy is right,
- You are good negotiator,
- You are analytical and you like to solve problems,
- You like to work in team
- You are stress resistant
