Description
Your duties
You will be part of the Data Governance & Operations Team within our Central Data Office department (Internal Firm Services) whereby you will support the oversight of a range of data governance and data management-related functions. Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Serve as a liaison between business/functional areas and technology and lead support services to ensure:
- data quality issues are analysed, follow up and resolved through process or technical solutions;
- data requirements and best practices improvements are clearly defined in a roadmap, communicated, well understood business/IT users and considered as part of operational prioritisation and planning;
- the overseeing of data Issue Management activities and the coaching of junior resources in this area.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Data Governance organisation via:
- Assessment of the impact of the PwC Global Network policies and the regulations rules on PwC Luxembourg’s local data governance organisation and principles;
- Production of Data Management procedures aligned to the data governance organisation and principles.
- Contribute to maintain the indicators of Data Management related performance, quality metrics, and ensure compliance with:
- Data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities;
- Adoption target of data management best practices.
- Collaborate with other Data Management team’s members to provide support to operational activities.
Your profile
- You have Master degree level in IT, Data Management, Business Management or Sciences;
- You have at least 5 years of experience working in data management, business analysis, data quality, data governance;
- You have proven experience in Project Management and in coaching junior resources;
- You are skilled in business analysis and to structure a large amount of information within a process framework. Ideally you have knowledge of business process modelling notations (BPMN) to build process maps and reengineer business processes;
- You have knowledge of Data Management practices (DMBOK), Data Regulation rules and business domains (potentially Internal Firm Services, Audit, Tax or Advisory/Consulting practices)
- You have excellent procedures/policies writing skills
- You have the following soft skills: collaboration and organisational skills, strategic and analytical thinking capabilities, flexible mindset and ability to adapt to multiple tasks using different methodologies;
- You are proficient in French and English both in written and verbal. Other languages are considered an asset.
