IT Strategy and CIO Consultant

A career in IT strategy and CIO advisory will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients shape the direction of IT organizations to align the overall shareholder and business vision and objectives and drive measurable improvements.

We advise clients on IT strategy and operating models to design how the IT function will need to operate to achieve the new IT and stakeholder objectives and workforce talent strategy. We also explore new and emerging technologies to create a vision of how technology will shape the future and invent the next wave of cutting-edge business solutions.

Your mission

As a (Senior) Associate, you’ll be part of the IT strategy and CIO advisory team of consultants helping clients in Luxembourg and Europe to align their IT with the business objectives, increase their IT organization efficiency from the IT strategy to its implementation.

In this context, your mission will be:

• Co-develop innovative solution concepts - in the interdisciplinary team you will co-create solutions for IT transformation, the optimization of IT alignment or support the development of new digital business models for our customers.
• Propose efficient optimization measures - you will use best practice approaches from a leading global consulting firm to design target organizations, optimize processes and support mapping in IT systems to seek optimisations.
• Quick learning and adaptation – your area of ​​responsibility will be demanding and varied. You will work in a team with colleagues from a wide variety of skill sets in order to successfully implement projects together.

Skills / your profile

• You have successfully completed your studies in business informatics, economics, industrial engineering or a comparable course or are about to do so.
• Internships gave you initial industry experience ( banking, insurance, logistics, public sector).
• You have basic knowledge in one or more of the following areas: IT strategy, IT sourcing, digitization, IT architecture or IT alignment, organization and transformation of IT units as well as IT reporting and benchmarking.
• You enjoy working in a team and can successfully use your analytical and communication skills combined with your own initiative in a project team.
• You are fluent in English and French (German would be an asset).
