CTG IT Solutions is an IT Services Company dedicated to European Institutions. We are currently hiring a Network & Security Engineer to strengthen our team within a prestigious European Institution.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Fulfill service requests related to network operations.
  • Provide 2nd level incident response and escalate issues to vendors when necessary.
  • Contribute to problem management, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support lifecycle management activities for network services, ensuring efficiency and compliance with best practices.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new services and network solutions.
  • Manage configuration changes and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Design and implement network management systems and other operational tools:
  • Define architecture and evaluate market solutions.
  • Conduct proof of concepts and pre-production testing.
  • Implement new solutions for operations, including: 
  • Migrating new systems into production.
  • Defining operational procedures and automating routine tasks.
  • Develop and configure custom tools (, web-based dashboards, databases, automation scripts).
  • Evaluate quality and efficiency of operations by defining and implementing metrics.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze network performance metrics, proposing measures for quality and efficiency improvements.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in network operations in a large-scale environment.
  • Strong knowledge of incident management, request fulfillment, and problem resolution.
  • Hands-on experience with configuration management in enterprise networks.
  • Experience working with network management and monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with routing and switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPNs, MPLS, etc.).
  • Good understanding of firewall policies, F5 load balancing, and security best practices (focus on F5 and Palo Alto).
  • Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform is a plus).
  • Understanding of network performance monitoring and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor environments (F5, Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work on problem resolution and service improvements.


Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Networks, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
  • relevant networking certification (, CCNA, CCNP, NSE4, or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Fluency in English (C Level) is required.


Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Hands-on experience with network automation tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or hybrid-cloud solutions).
  • Understanding of container networking (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Experience with network telemetry and monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to SDN and network virtualization (NSX, Cisco ACI).
