Professional Support Lawyer in Investment Funds
We are looking for a Professional Support Lawyer in Investment Funds
Practice areas:
- Investment funds (UCITS, UCIs, regulated AIFs) and their IFMs
- Good knowledge of any transversal regulations impacting investment funds and their IFMs (MIFID, EMIR, SFDR etc…)
Responsibilities:
- Produce and manage templates, precedents and know-how in the investment funds area (procedures, service providers agreements, standard clauses prospectuses etc …)
- Monitor relevant legal developments, in the investment funds environment both at national and European levels, as well as regulatory developments and monitor market trends
- Coordinate and contribute to the preparation and update of practice notes, legal updates, newsletters, memoranda, internal and external briefings (clients, industry associations etc …)
- Assist lawyers in the preparation of external presentations (conferences, client presentations and trainings)
- Deliver client presentations
- Contribute to innovation development (digitalization, Chatbot etc..)
- Coordinate and deliver internal training sessions to brief fund lawyers on changes to law, regulations, practice and precedents
- Collect and provide technical support and deal with legal queries from fund lawyers
- Work alongside lawyers and a dedicated team of PSL on fund legal and regulatory matters
Profile:
- At least 3 years of experience in funds’ practice (IFM, bank, law firm)
- Project management and communication skills
- Coordination skills
- Ability to pay attention to details and work rigorously
- Demonstrated service orientation and capacity to build network
- Ability to propose creative and pragmatic solutions
- English (French is an asset)
