We are looking for a Business Analyst Credit for one of our client based in Luxembourg.
- Freelance contract or permanent contract via a payrolling company
- French and English fluent are mandatory
- Job based in Luxembourg-city
Context :
- You'll operate at the heart of the bank's credit activities, giving you real influence on how lending decisions are shaped across the organisation.
- You'll work closely with business, risk, and IT teams, ensuring your expertise directly improves credit quality, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- You'll join an environment where your analytical skills are valued, and where your work has a visible impact on both processes and regulatory alignment.
Main responsibilities :
- You'll become a key decision partner, shaping future credit processes instead of simply documenting them.
- You'll own the functional vision end‑to‑end, translating business needs into clear functional documentation (BRD, user stories, specifications, process diagrams).
- You'll develop a strategic understanding of the entire credit ecosystem, expanding your technical mastery and your influence on system design.
Your profile :
- Strong understanding of the full credit lifecycle within a banking environment.
- Proven expertise in :
- Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
- Credit Decisioning (scoring models, rating systems, rule engines)
- Collateral Management
- Solid grasp of credit data structures and valuation methodologies.
- Good knowledge of European banking regulatory frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall environments.
- Proficiency with process modelling tools (BPMN, UML).
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
