IT Project Manager

As a member of an international team, the selected candidate will be performing the following tasks and responsibilities:

• Coordinating the execution of the projects in accordance with the project governance standards and project management methodology (adapted from Prince 2 and Agile);

• Manage the governance through regular project meetings, checkpoints and boards of assigned projects, keeping stakeholders informed with up-to-date information at all times and ensuring appropriate decision-making.

• Ensuring all relevant project management documentation, including a realistic plan agreed upon among all stakeholders;

• Managing the implementation of information systems to meet identified business needs

• Managing the required change and approval processes, including the security accreditation process when applicable;

• Ensuring the project implementation in accordance with the scope, budget and man days specified in the project implementation documentation; 

• Identifying and proactively addressing all dependencies, issues and risks affecting the project;

• Keeping overview and control of the budget and resources available to the project;

• Supervising the delivery of products and services by external suppliers.

• Provide effective leadership for the project team ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience. 

Requirements:

• University degree in a relevant field

• Minimum 8 years of experience in IT

• PM Certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, Scaled Agile or similar

• Experience with project and program management

• Good technical ICT knowledge in order to drive areas of ICT infrastructure, systems integration, software development and COTS application implementation projects

• Proven knowledge of reporting methods

• Knowledge of planning and estimation techniques

• Fluency in English. French would be considered as a plus
