Ready for your next step? We have an exciting job opening available in our Luxembourg team for a Lead Accountant! You will mainly be responsible for the day-to-day accounting support functions for Luxembourg funds and SPVs. You will also be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and any other client reporting packages.


Your responsibilities / main tasks will include:


  • Coordination of payments and bookkeeping of bank transactions;
  • Closing accounting activities (accruals, reconciliations) and preparation of reporting package;
  • Variance analysis over Balance sheet and Profit & loss changes;
  • SOC1 checklist preparation;
  • Preparation of annual accounts under Luxembourg GAAP;
  • BCL and CSSF reporting, if applicable;
  • Coordinating with Cosec, TA, auditors and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with timelines and accuracy of delivery;
  • Working closely with tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate submission of tax reporting;
  • Other ad-hoc accounting activities for an assigned portfolio of entities;


What do are we looking for?


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have more or less 5 years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 2 years with Luxembourg PERE funds/ SPV accounting.
  • Good understanding of Luxembourg tax environment;
  • Experience with Luxembourg regulatory reporting is a plus;
  • Critical thinking and forward looking mindset;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take ownership and lead over accounting activities for a dedicated portfolio of entities;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
