About the Opportunity

On behalf of our esteemed client, a prominent player in the European financial services industry, we are seeking a dedicated and analytical Equity Portfolio Services Officer. Your Core Responsibilities

As an Equity Portfolio Services Officer, you will be integral to the team's success, with key duties including:

  • Data Management & Validation: Manage the end-to-end process of collecting, validating, and processing Net Asset Value (NAV) and detailed portfolio data from quarterly reports submitted by fund managers and external counterparts.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Develop and maintain a deep expertise in data processing methodologies and systems related to the organisation's diverse business lines, particularly within private equity.

  • Audit & Compliance Support: Serve as a key point of contact during audit processes for both internal and mandated programs. This involves providing necessary documentation, clear explanations, and reconciliations of underlying portfolio data.

  • Risk Mitigation: Actively contribute to maintaining a robust internal control framework. Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate operational and compliance risks associated with portfolio data handling.

  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of the unit's data processing activities.

  • Team Collaboration: Support team members and collaborate on various internal projects, sharing knowledge and contributing to the unit's overall objectives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Educational Background: A university degree is required, preferably at a Master's level, in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in a role with similar data-centric responsibilities.

  • Industry Expertise: Proven experience in Banking, Asset Management, Financial Reporting, Quantitative Analysis, Audit, or Fund Administration is highly desirable. Direct exposure to Private Equity assets will be considered a significant advantage.

  • Professional Qualifications: Holding or pursuing professional certifications such as the CFA or ACCA would be a strong asset.

  • Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory. Fluency in another EU language would be beneficial.
